Mission Statement:

The SLCCR ACT Inc aims to:

(i)   Create an enabling environment that would seek the cultural interests for all Sierra Leoneans and other Africans especially those from the West Africa sub region.

(ii)  Foster a good cultural relationship between Australia and West Africa's diverse cultures.

(iii)Foster good relationship with existing Australian Multicultural groups and other Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs).

(iv)         Promote a greater understanding of Sierra Leone, its culture and heritage in the Australian community.

(v) Seek and promote Peace, unity and well-being of Sierra Leoneans in the ACT and Regions, Australia and the   diaspora.

(vi)         Assist in the integration of migrant families and individuals into the community.

(vii)        Participate actively in the development of a multicultural society within Australia.

(viii)      To respect and abide by the laws of Australia.
