Governance

Executive Committee:
(i) The administration of the affairs of the Association shall be vested in the Executive Committee (EC) which shall comprise of the following:
(a) Chairman,
(b) Deputy Chairman,
(c) Secretary,
(d) Treasurer,
(e) Public Relations Officer, and
(f) Two (2) Ordinary Executive Member.
(ii) The EC shall be responsible to the Association for the implementation of the rules and regulations of this Constitution.
(iii) The EC shall make regulations consistent with this Constitution including:
(a) The determination of membership fees and special levies,
(b) The appointment, duties and terms of reference of sub-committees, and
(c) Such other matters consistent with this Constitution and conducive to the efficient administration of the association.
(iv) Such regulation and any amendment thereto shall be subjected to approval by a simple majority of members present at an EC meeting, General Meeting or any special meeting called for the purpose of voting.
(v) Politics
(a) The Association is apolitical.
(b) As a non-political organisation, the EC will not use the Association’s funds to directly invest or sponsor political activities, parties or organisations.
(vi) Religion
(a) The Association is non-religious.
(b) As a non-religious organisation, the EC will not use the Association’s funds to directly invest or sponsor religious activities, parties or organisations.
Women’s Committee
The Women’s Committee primary responsibilities is to seek the welfare of families, children, and the youth and also advise the EC on matters of their areas of operations.
Advisory Committee
The Advisory Committee primary responsibilities is to make recommendations and/or provides essential information and materials to the EC.
